Econo Lodge

Econo Lodge is a hotel chain. It is the second largest in the Choice Hotel network. Originally it was founded in 1969 by Lloyd Tarbutton. Vernon Myers and his son, Vernon Jr., and was called Econo-Travel. Non-smoking rooms and beds on boxes are the innovations of this hotel chain. In 1983 Tarbutton sold it and the name was changed to Econo-Lodge.
