I stayed at Econolodge in Salt Lake City in March 2018 and they double charged me. The staff has given me the runaround for five months and my last experience was with a very belligerant clerk that stated that they were refusing to pay me back the double charge portion.

Econo Lodge - Need to cancel

I need to cancel my reservation due to my mothers relapse with her cancer. I was told it wouldn't be a problem as long as the hotel agreed which they have, just need priceline to contact them. But when priceline calls the manager is never there, and told to call during these hours. I have contacted the hotel. Im was at one of this hotel in houston and the manager was very rude to me talking to me like im a child over a towel that had burnt spots on it. Mind you it was a small towel and he was like it isnt for personal use and that i ruined it. He did it infront of everyone which was embarrassing for me. Theres alot of things i could have complained about. Like the mold in my room and a leak that ive told them about 2 months ive been staying there and ive stayed there for 6 months. Their maids are mostly illegal including their drivers. They pay them close to nothing which i already asked some of them. I just hated it there. I really do think theyre racist. Its the econolodge in houston texas on main street. I dont recommed at allllll

Stayed at the Econo Lodge at South Padre Island for a night and got double charged. Manager Chris stated he would refund one of the charges. Contact to my bank and no refund has been received two weeks later. Contacted manager again and he said he lied when he daid he refunded but that be would refund it today. Now the trust is not there and when i asked him for his supervisors number he's said Google it and hanged up. He is very unprofessional, unpleasant, lier, and apparently a thief. I will press charges if he does not return my money. Never have I or family been treated this way at a hotel. A fun weekend has turned into a nightmare. The money may only mean a commission for him but for us its our hard earn money and a couple of happy hours with our family. Our morals and ethics are slowly disappearing from this world. I think you need to reevaluate your company. Because without customers you have no business. Thank you.

Econo Lodge in Memphis, Tennessee - So disappointed

Housekeeping, maintenance, customer servos and hotel appearance not good. This complaint is for performance, housekeeping, maintenance, and reservations. From July 25 thru July 29. The group that I traveled with experience so many unsatisfactory issues until we will never return to any econo lodge for vacation. To begin with, I asked the hotel on 2 different occasions to make sure the group reminded on one floor, we hade the 8-9-10 floor. One couple the was not physically challenged was placed in a handicap room and had to be relocated. I specifically asked for no smoking. We were 4 door from housekeeping where several employees smoked cigarettes all day long. Once we were in the rooms the toilet in room 836 was broken.every-time we flushed the toilet, you had to remove the back of the tank to pull the or push the stopper to stop the water from running. On Saturday night they rented out the pool area for a night club event ( swim suit ) contest, with a full bar and VIP area and guest were told that they could not stand in the hall ways, when we paid to be guest at the hotel. 2 of the rooms that we rented were not cleaned and towels were not ready for guest until 9 pm. The hotel lobby and elevators air was not working and the breakfast area was not monitored at all. This hotel does have a good location but needs some serious assistance with several areas. I am not happy and will also send a letter to econo lodge corporate office, hotel general manager and a letter to the code enforcement to the city of Memphis. We were in room 836,937 and 1038 under the name of Henderson. If you need any additional information from me, feel free to contact me at 954-873-23311
