There was cockroaches all in the room my wife woke up to one crawling on her also to get in the bathroom you only had one foot about because the bed was blocking the bathroom and the hot water did not work also the bed next to the bathroom the bottom and not to mention the ice machine was out of order also there's no blind in the bathroom so anybody could walk by stand up and peek in there

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. I called the motel many times to no avail.

I called the corporate offices, and a lady named Cill (Celia) assured me that my $60 would be refunded. It's a stupid practice: take $60 from someone and keep it for ten days.

I am 54 years old. This was the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my entire life.!

We were heading home from Sebring to St. Petersburg after attending a three day funeral service for my stepfather and we had to stop and get a room as my mother was not able to drive any further at that time. Check in was great. We had a late check out however, when the morning came, it was complete terror.

They were harassing us standing at the door telling us we were 20 minutes late checking out. They were threatening to charge another day. If we did not leave immediately the hotel is not even full. There is only four rooms that were occupied that evening.

Our room was clean. I was there with my mother. I hardly had time to take a shower. I couldnt put my belt on.

They rush us out of there.

It was terrible. It was the worst experience Ive ever had at a hotel in my life these people business.

The workers were very friendly! I'm never the one to cause a fuss, but I noticed immediately that the room was nasty.

I had to go out and buy cleaning supplies myself. There was a dirty, used band-aid along with a used soap bar still left in the shower! Stains were everywhere that came off with cleaner, so I know it wasn't cleaned beforehand. The floors turned our feet black.

The cleaners came in the next day and just did a one-minute dry wipe down and half-swept, leaving our toilet paper holder lying on the floor on their way out. I wish I would have taken pictures before, but what I attached is what I was actively cleaning when I remembered that I should be taking photos.

Did you ask for a different room? Instead of buying supplies, did you ask if you could use the hotel's cleaning supplies?

I had already got moved once. But they didn’t even use their own supplies. Quickly wiping with a dry cloth was “cleaning.”

The only refund she they should get is money for the supplies they bought. If this person cannot afford a hotel room, they should sleep on the street, in a cardboard box. at a homeless shelter, in their car.

Dispute/complaint

I had a connecting flight from IAD (Washington) connecting in Charlotte, NC. All flights were cancelled going into PBI (West Palm Beach).

Instead of sleeping on airport chairs i decided to book a room for the night. I made a reservation at the Econo Lodge. Mike the person I was speaking with who made my reservation advised me to go outside and wait for the shuttle bus. When I got outside the shuttle bus did not show up.

This was about 1212AM. I called the hotel directly and ask them should I be looking for any specific bus with their logo. I was advised by the front desk clerk that there are no bus running after midnight. I asked him why that was not disclosed to me at the time of booking.

He said "I'm sorry Ma'am."I asked him to cancel my reservations since I did not have a way to get to the hotel. He advised me that he cannot because it was already confirmed. I asked him why would I have made a reservation to a hotel that I cannot get a ride to and who could not cancel my reservation? He was a bit dismissive and short to be exact.

I am very disappointed that I lost money on a reservation that I was not able to use.

I had a very rough night sleeping on airport chairs. All I am asking for is a refund for a room that I never used.

Got ripped off

Stayed at Econo Lodge downtown in Colorado Springs. They kept my $50 deposit, saying there was pet hair on the blankets.

First, they said they had pictures but then changed to the pet hair excuse. I live in Tennessee, and I believe they took advantage of that fact.

Didn't receive my deposit

I haven't received my deposit for my three-day stay at the Econo Lodge. So, when I checked out from the Econo Lodge, they assured me that I would certainly receive my full deposit back on my card within seven to ten business days.

Just two days ago, I contacted the Econo Lodge, and they informed me that my deposit was released back to me on January 16th, 2025. However, it is not showing in my account or on my bank statement. I called the Econo Lodge's bank, and they said that they're not seeing it in their system. I also contacted my card's bank, and they aren't seeing any pending transactions.

It would be really nice to have that money because I need it right now. Can I please get some help with this?

Horrible experience- Fraudulent charges

I reserved two rooms with 2 Queen beds in each for our crew that's working on the hurricane disaster relief. Upon arrival, we are made aware that they don't have the queen beds available, but wanted to change us to 2 rooms with 1 king bed for grown men share a bed.

We declined, the rooms were canceled and I was told there would be no fee since the hotel couldn't meet our booked accommodation. 10/22/24 same day, EXPEDIA charged both of the rooms for the entire week anyways. I requested a refund and was told it was approved and would be 7-10 business days to receive. 6 days later, 10-28, another charge on our bank account appears from Econo Lodge for the same rooms.

I've been round and round with both of them, trying to get refunded at this point from both of them for these rooms that were never checked into. To make it even worse we had to go all the way to Vidalia because that was the only other with an accommodation available, and was even re-booked through Expedia. And we've been at the same hotel through Expedia ever since. It is now November 10 and I finally get an answer back from Expedia that they are not going to refund the rooms afterall and Econo Lodge was Not refunding them either.

At this point.. it's plain Fraud! DO NOT BOOK HERE!! They will rip you off.

DO NOT BOOK with Expedia through here, They will charge you Now Double Charged basically $2,300...and promised a refund only to find out that after waiting emailing back and forth every couple of days and expecting the refunds all the way through the ridiculous 7-10 business days refund policy, it gets declined. I now will have to go to the back and dispute the charges. Ridiculous! Never again will I stay at a choice hotel..

and never again will I book with Expedia. Be Aware!

I'm actually at the econo Lodge on New London avenue right now I booked the room for 3 days all's I asked was clean and no bugs I even told the I even asked that the clerk when I called please just be honest are there any fleas or any gnats in the rooms I'm just asking I just don't want to get there and have to leave well I took pictures they're fleas or bed bugs and they're flying nats call down the front desk you can't come up cuz he by himself fine I told himwhat I found he said no we don't have bed bugs well then you have fleas I also took pictures and will show them in the morning cuz all he said he's going to contact housekeeping I don't know what that's going to do you need exterminator to get rid of bugs so it's very nice service not a dirty room but I like not to sleep on a chair with a with a towel My confirmation number is 1716**** because I can't take a picture of my receipt cuz I can't get a screenshot and so I gave you my confirmation number

DoI booked two roommates for me and my family. After we checked in I noticed a few mattresses laying up against the fence in the back of the property while trying to find the rooms which threw me off a bit.

I walked into my room and immediately noticed mold around the nob and vents of the AC! My Husband was sat on the bed and after a few minutes he started feeling something bitting him and after investigating we seen that it was bed bugs!! The wall near the sink and Im the restroom were stained when brown residue! The toilet seat was stained and old looking in both rooms!

We packed our belongings back into our vehicle and proceeded to checkout because we was about to sleep in those disgusting rooms especially not with bed bugs!! I told the Rep at the front desk that I wanted a refund because our rooms are filthy! He told me hes not giving me a refund because they have a 10 min policy that states that if I dont checkout before 10 minutes of checking in theres no refund! We wasnt in our rooms 5 minutes before packing our things and he had the nerves to tell me he will switch our rooms the following morning!

I told him Im not paying for rooms that has mold and bed bugs! He cancelled the reservation and kept my money!!He walked away from the counter and started back reading his magazine! My card was charged for two nights for two rooms that I didnt use! Im currently working on getting my money back because what I have experienced was so unfair and for them to charge my account after not being their ten minutes is crook behavior and I will be taking them to court if this matter isnt resolved within the next couple of days!

I wouldnt advise anyone to book with Econo Lodge in Chambers Rd in Macon Ga!!

They are crooks and the rooms are disgusting!! They needs new management, renovations, and pest control!!

Short and simple this place has fleas or ticks or bed bugs everywhere I took pictures please don't come here you called out of the desk and you tell him what's going on they say no we don't have any bugs I said well I took pictures I'm going to sleep in a chair tonight and he's by himself so he couldn't come up and he's just going to inform housekeeping like that's going to do anything they're fleas all bed bugs or ticks you need an exterminator they just change the sheets nope I wish I could have took pictures of the nats flying in the air but you can't really see that but they're everywhere and I have to just put my confirmation over down because I can't find my receipt and for some reason I can't share my receipt on my email but I got it I just can't take a photo of it my confirmation number is 1716****

The attendant was absolutely rude and disrespectful during my entire stay. They claimed, two days into my second week, that we broke a TV which they claim was brand new.

This was false as we didn't touch the TV. It had dust on it and the remote was taped, proving it wasn't brand new. The attendant also falsely claimed they had put in brand new mattresses. I have pictures to prove everything.

I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, nor would I ever stay there again.

I want a full refund. If I could give negative stars, I would.

You stayed for two weeks and should pay for the weeks you stayed. No need to make lies to get a refund.

If you cannot afford a hotel room, sleep on the streets, in your car, at a homeless shelter, or in a cardboard box.

By the way, everyone knows that those "pictures" you took were taken off the street and not at the hotel. Nice try.

Last summer, I took my granddaughter to the beach and stayed at the Econo Lodge on Coastal Highway. A hurricane was about to hit that weekend and they wouldn't let me reschedule or cancel the reservation.

So, we went down and we couldn't go in the pool, we couldn't go to the beach or the boardwalk. The water parks were closed.

Therefore, we sat in the rain in the room. I called, but they wouldn't give me any kind of discount or refund!
